NixOS is an advanced Linux distribution based on the Nix package manager, a monadic/applicative build system built on ideas inspired by functional programming.

functorOS is functor.systems' highly experimental distribution built on top of NixOS, providing our unique spin and advanced pre-configured features. After installation, it can be configured just like any other NixOS system, with a few slight differences. You may consider it in the same vein as what distributions like endeavourOS are to Arch Linux.
